Parks Leaders Forum Emerging Leaders Scholarship

The New Zealand Parks Leaders Forum (PLF) is in its sixth year of offering membership to organisations involved in parks management.
This Taituarā special interest group was created to enhance and increase the significant range of environmental, social, and economic benefits to the community that parks provide.
The New Zealand Parks Leaders Forum is made up of a network of New Zealand parks agency managers and parks business leaders who meet regularly to assist each other and to progress sector issues. It operates services to the parks sector with membership providing access to parks managers meetings, resource about the creation of new parks, as well as specific communications and materials supporting best practice and advocacy.
The $2500 Emerging Leaders scholarship is offered annually to an emerging Parks leader to help with professional development.
The scholarship includes a one-year internship with the PLF Board as a non-voting intern and free registration to Parks Leaders Forum meetings and field trips.
