A formal definition of landscape architecture is "the art and practice of designing the outdoor environment, especially designing parks or gardens to harmonise with buildings and roads," but as LAA has moved around New Zealand and talked to some of our leading practitioners it is clear the profession is so much more.
In this video, the first in an occasional series attempting to define and better understand the profession, we hear from landscape architects up and down the country about what the work means to them.
