A collaboration between JASMAX, LandLAB, Aecom and Ōtākaro Ltd.
The Hon Nicky Wagner opened the Mollett Street block of the South Frame on Monday 26 June.
The Greenway is shared pedestrian and cycleway that runs between two major commuter routes in Christchurch. It features interpretive paving inlays that tell ‘the story of stone’ to represent the underlying geology of the region. Sections also reflect the history of Ngāi Tūāhuriri/Ngāi Tahu trading utilising stone through highly crafted inserts, illuminated pounamu and stand-alone rocks and mulches.
This project was a collaboration between JASMAX, LandLAB, Aecom and Ōtākaro Ltd.
