The Open Christchurch 2023 programme

We are thrilled to be able to share with you the stellar line up of buildings that make up our biggest programme to date: Modernist masterpieces, hidden treasures, quiet achievers and heavyweight works.

We also have some new additions to this year's festival: two special evening events exploring different aspects of Christchurch architecture (read on to find out more).

As you are part of our inner circle, we'll give you some hot tips on how to make the most of the festival weekend and give you the inside scoop on Open Christchurch 2023.

In-the-know tip
If you missed out on getting tickets, enter the What's On Facebook competition on 4 April and go into the draw for double passes to the Dorset Street Flats, St Mary's Apartments, Christ Church Cathedral, the Observatory Hotel and Peterborough Co-op.

Open Christchurch 2023 top tips

With 52 open buildings, 30+ activities and 4 guided walks, Open Christchurch 2023 is a celebration of some of our best architecture.

There is loads to discover and experience, so we recommend that you study the website or download a printable copy of the programme, so that you can start planning your Open Christchurch Weekend.

A heads up: buildings are open at different times over the weekend and activities are timetabled.

If you are keen to head to some of the buildings a bit farther afield (there are buildings spread from Wigram to Mt Pleasant), it is advisable to allow time for travel.
