Join us on Tuesday 23 September for an evening of CPD and delve into the fast-evolving world of Artificial Intelligence and its practical application in our industry.
Our guest speaker is Cowan Henderson, co-founder of Avocado AI. Avocado AI are educators who help organisations build in-house AI capability—practical, hands-on training that embeds safe, effective use into everyday work so teams can solve their own problems.
Cowan will provide insights into the journey of learning AI, some quick tips you can try right away, how custom GPTs can be built to query any key standards and guidelines, including Te Tangi a Te Manu, and explore ways AI can streamline processes, enhance productivity, and unlock new levels of creativity.
Whether you're confident using AI, just starting to explore its possibilities, or have never used it, this evening will be a great chance to learn something new and ask any budding questions you might have.

What to expect:
- The evening will begin at 5.30pm with some drinks and nibbles
- A short presentation from guest speaker Cowan Henderson will kick off at 6.00pm
- An open discussion style Q&A with Cowan will follow this around 6.30pm
- Pizza and drinks will follow the Q&A and an opportunity to ask Cowan any more questions
- The evening will end at 7.30pm
