The New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects Tuia Pito Ora Tamaki Makaurau Branch and Waikato Branch invite you to a field trip at Rangiriri Paa, on Friday the 25th of September. This is a joint field trip with the NZILA Central North Island Branch to enable stronger connections between local branch members.
Rangiriri Paa is one of Aotearoa’s most significant historic and cultural landscapes, renowned for its role in the invasion of Waikato and the New Zealand Wars. Rangiriri is regarded as Wāhi tupuna (ancestral site). The landscape restoration and overall design was undertaken by Boffa Miskell for Waka Kotahi and Waikato-Tainui.

Location: Bus pickup details to be confirmed.
Tickets are $20 per person, facilitated by bus transport for Auckland Members.
Shared Lunch will also be provided.
