The Christchurch Justice & Emergency Services Precinct was a post-quake rebuild  anchor project, led by the Ministry of Justice. It brings together all justice and emergency services in one purpose-built, leading-edge precinct in central Christchurch.

The design brief was to create a mixed use space in the town centre to encourage walking and cycling instead of driving, promote active physical health and well-being with consideration to universal accessibility. We needed to create a safer and more vibrant town centre where people can visit, spend time and enjoy the many activities and opportunities on offer.
Whitianga Town Centre Upgrade – Stage One
The design narrowed the carriageway and improved walking and cycling connections from Ōtāhuhu Station to the town centre.
More native trees and gardens created a greener town centre.

Puhi Kai Iti/Cook Landing Site National Historic Reserve commemorates the first landing place of James Cook in New Zealand in 1769.

Boffa Miskell prepared a concept masterplan for the site, along with undertaking the detailed design for the first stage of development. This involved the design of the public promenade, key public spaces and car parking areas. The landscape design strategy adopted an integrated approach to maritime industrial character in conjunction with mana whenua cultural design.
Te Ana Design Guidelines
A wide range of native and exotic plants were chosen to create the tropical rainforest feel in Auckland’s wetter, more temperate environment. While some plants were able to be confirmed early and grown on, much was flexible to the end and overplanted at tight spacings to provide the experience of a mature forest setting.
